We opened The Massage Shoppe in the summer of 2013. Over the years our roots have grown strong and proud in our Stittsville community. We're known for our nurturing and mentorship of massage therapists. We strive to inspire our therapists to continue to learn and be current in bodywork therapy.

Massage Therapy
We offer a variety of massage services, including therapeutic massage, fascial stretch therapy, craniosacral therapy, chronic depletion therapy, muscle energy technique, pre/post natal massage, reflexology, indie head massage, cupping and more. Our therapists are trained in a range of techniques to address common complaints like headaches, back pain, jaw function, plantar fasciitis, and more.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a comprehensive hands on approach for overall wellbeing. It is gentle and effective for treating the musculoskeletal system and connective tissues. A wonderful method of treatment for chronic pain, mobility, and overall improved quality of life by reducing pain, increasing joint function and addressing the body as a whole. Akrm has additional training in Pediatrics working with infants through their growing years.

Bruce Ford RMT opened one of the first of its kind, massage therapy clinics, breaking the mold that massage therapists were accessories to other forms of health care. He believed in massage therapy as a healing modality and opened his clinic to many RMTs over the years. In 2010 Rose Murdoch RMT became the new owner, and expanded the business to include Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

Located on Stittsville's Main Street, The Massage Shoppe was our expansion clinic in 2013. Our Kanata location was bursting with over 18 therapists trying to accommodate their rapidly growing clientele in 2012. Bruce and Rose formed a partnership and opened their second location for RMT's. This soon became a training facility for RMT's

This soon became a training facility for RMT's and to date boasts a proud note that 9 of our massage therapist's have gone on to become clinic owners. During the pandemic Bruce and Rose made the decision to open a home based clinic to provide a safe, healing space to our community. It's become a place to not only receive massage therapy, but also, a place to come with a private booking of 2-6 people for our Scandinavian Experience. A truly healing space to forest bathe, meditate, enjoy the sauna and sound bowl sessions. We are now offering Semi-Private and Private STOTT PILATES training on the reformer.
